How to use video camera with tripod?

I can not use video camera with tripod. I want to watch a ghost orb on monitor in truck. Please help 😭

When I place video camera on the floor or on tripod in a house. It always close and not show in monitor T_T after I place it I have to click on some where or not?

When you place the camera down inside the house it will always close. This does not mean it isn't on, it's just the way it is. You can then go to the computer in the Truck and find the camera by clicking on the mouse (this changes which camera is actively displayed) and hitting the keyboard (this turns on and off Night vision) Normally night vision is off by default on the camera so if it is in the complete dark it may show up like it isn't working.

The camera is automatically "on" now, when you place it. You dont have to switch it on. Ignore the closing miniscreen.

This is a change from earlier.

Take tripod, go outside the truck, drop it. Take video camera, go outside the truck, right click, press F on the tripod. Take tripod inside.

Right clicking turns on the night vision vision FYI. If it isn't turned on when you place the video cam on the tripod it won't show any orbs since the NV isn't on. The video cam is also always on by default now the moment you take it outside the truck / van it will turn on.

I don't even use tripods.
The video cam screen is much smaller making it harder to spot orbs and while you have a better view of the room with a tripod, it's easier to use the camera to see evidence like the book and EMF when it is right on the floor.
I often place the camera near a doorway to the ghost room, a book flat against the wall so it faces the camera and the EMF at the door so it goes off when the ghost interacts with it. With the camera higher up all of those would either be out of view or too far away to reconize anything.

With that method you can see up to 4 different evidences from the truck (DOTS, writing, EMF, orbs)
Potentially even fingerprints although that's kinda complicated to set up and not really useful since you likely already found that by the time you set up the UV.

I've had many issues where if I place them preemptively, I can't turn them on while they're on the tripod. So I end up taking them off anyways, turning on the NV then putting it back on. When I could just go ahead and take them out. It's just a time saver for me.

Like I said, it's just a time saver.
