VR lighthouse easter egg

i cant get the lighthouse easter egg to work in vr i get from step 1 to step 2 but the function of activating step 2 does not work in vr anyone know when a fix/if a fix or am i missing somthing, yes im using the button that i would to place somthing like dots/motion on a wall its not a button issue plz help no spoilers???

did you try it without the VR just to see if its not something you doing actually wrong? try again i bet you can do it! the easter egg is amazing

Maybe, i have same problem.
i want to set a ITEM there, but I don't know how to place it.
in VR, when I can place a item, a silhouette of the item appears there, I think.
but nothing appears.
I watched a spoiler video, so I don't have a wrong item.
It's a bug only in VR?

After you get the key, you need to open the locked door before picking up the item or it will not work. Don't know why, but make sure you open the locked door first.

I think this is a bug in VR mode after all

Maybe is a problem on how item placement works in VR compared to the snap one of the non VR version.
