That's the problem, the map was Tanglewood, I had both Crucifixes Tier 2 near the car. When the ghost started hunting it was inside the garage, which I believe the Tier 2 covers the whole area
I would if I could xD
It also does not help that the car is directly in the way for maximum room coverage, especially for the back side of the room (the front side you can at least put it on the car hood)
So all in all, you just got unlucky with the ghost finding a place to sneak in... it happens.
Oh... and it needs to be said as well... but if it was Twins and it chose the "fast twin"... then the Crucifix wouldn't have helped you anyway. This is due to the special hunt rules they have - the TL:DR is that they have a 50% chance to teleport to their last long range interaction *after* a crucifix check, essentially allowing them to hunt remotely, and possibly appear to start within the range of a crucifix as a result.
It was a Banshee, and I had one crucifix on one side of the car and the other on the other side. But maybe, it's like you said I thought they were covering the room and they weren't
For that, I like to place each crucifix on either side of the car. But, it sounds like there might've been a space they just weaseled into. It happens.
