today in game Deogen Did not SLOW down in line of sight. (not sure if its game issue or there was a person cheating on the game.)

Could be server lag or cheating. On server lag, ghosts can kill you without touching you if you take too long to move.

if it is multiplayer and you see Deogen running towards you without slowing then it is someone else he pick up as a target. someone behind you perhaps. and yes, he can still kill you in that way

Pretty sure it moves faster if another player is hiding. Even if your in it's line of sight. I could be wrong :P

deo will slow even when near non target,

A deogens speed has nothing to do with line of sight. It has line of sight on all players at all times. Even if you are hiding. A deogens speed is based on proximity. Getting near any player is what slows it down.

As far as i know deogen isnt like banshee so i think it always goes for closest player but i think that it will always slow down near any player

this game since its 30 overhauls and alterations have only left the ghosts a blur of possiblities with zero way to be sure. phasmophobia has been reduced to a sudoku game with missing grid numbers to start you off. nothing has "improved" and has only degraded with respect to progression, tool usage, and fun for that matter.
