Hackers controlling the ghost

Had a game the other night on medium difficulty. We went into the garage and the ghost started hunting immediately.

I noticed one of the players was acting suspicious and at one point he started moving way faster than the run speed allows.

The ghost seemed to go into hunt mode constantly, way more often than usual. The one suspicious player kept telling people to go into the garage and was laughing his ass off.

When we were in the garage the ghost would hunt straight away so we all stayed outside and then the suspicious dude went into the garage and was in there for ages and the ghost didn't hunt once.

I called him a hacker and he started laughing and denying it even though I seen him speedhacking earlier in the match.

Sad that people have to hack into a co-op game.

Any game will see hackers. Trolls gonna troll. With that said hopefully VAC or something gets added and hackers get long/permanent bans.

I had a game with a ghost (named elvis presley) that is clearly being controlled by a script kiddie since it was running full speed in the house, teabagging everyone, randomly triggering haunting phase while opening doors and killed everyone then proceeds to spawn bodies until game crashed.

In the same session, another script kiddie spamming the lobbies with weird signs till game crashed

Yup, game's already full of hackers. You either play private lobbies or you're gonna run into hackers.

I joined a lobby that was full of these cubes. I couldn't exit it by pressing escape and leaving, I had to Ctrl+Alt+Delete and close the game there.

Had some guy run into the house yelling "KAREN THOMPSON, I AM THE MANAGER" and he got killed within 30 seconds, even if a hacker did it it was still pretty funny.

Or if you die your team mates can hear you from the Spirit Box if they place it near where you died, the amount of times I've died and watched the ghost chase my team around when they are clearly unaware gives me anxiety.

I don't understand these players, the fun of the game is being scared, so you take the fun out of the game, I guess a lot of free time makes people want to tease

Which is why I don't get modded lobbys or why they're allowed, it's just a bunch of idiots playing music and crap over the mic, what's the appeal?

I don't either, I really hate that I can't play this game, because the folks who have it never seem to play when I am free. So, I thought, just maybe I should tempt the public online, sadly, that looks to be risky, very risky..

same thing happend with me in a hacked lobby with like 25 people and my game freezes no i cannotg play at all, as soon as i start my game it gets stuck on 90% and says welcome back??? i cant even refund the game

Honestly, public lobbies are 99% decent, I've played on every server and even if there's a bit of a language barrier, every one is cool because we're all scared sh tless and want to end the mission as fast as possible.
