Violent deaths can work just as well in VR as 2D (so long as it's done properly, but that's true of anything)
I learned that from RE7 when "what's-her-face" gets too close with the chainsaw and shoves it right in your gut, driving it upwards X< Plus there's when you get chewed on by the Molded.. when Marguerite bursts through the wall all deformed grabbing you.. and like JJRipper mentioned, being choked by Jack Baker lol.
All of them were pretty scary/uncomfortable/brutal and definitely made you not want to die again lol. And this was without a body and manipulative hands
But like you said Liam. Could be a bit too difficult to get everything right so it's not super janky. All depends how it's put together
I'm actually more scared of dying and losing all my stuff.
And ofc ghosts and the atmosphere are spooky af.
As for the animations, i'd love to see a new one with the female model with the giant mouth/razor teeth where she pushes you down, climbs on top of you and the last thing you see is her unhinging that thing and biting down onto your face.
