Why does VR look terrible?
In VR the game is just really low resolution and blurry. I have to turn super sampling up to 500% to get it to look somewhat clear, but the textures still look really bad. It's only this game, all of my other ones look fine. Does anybody know how to fix this, or if it's going to be improved sometime soon?

What kind of headset are you using? I played it with a Quest 2 and the graphics seemed to be so so but wondering if it was a bit janky cause i was playing it wirelessly using Virtual Desktop?

Same thing, Quest 2. I tried using Virtual Desktop and an Oculus Link cable and it looks exactly the same. I think the textures just aren't high res enough for VR. Hopefully the dev/devs can give us a little bit of a graphics update sometime soon.

looks really fine but i have to turn things down cos my pc cant handle the game in vr i would say they need to work on vr video things so people who got 12gb ram and gtx 150 ti can run the game in vr runs fine in pc mode

I used the Quest 2 to play the game and it looked just fine over Link. Did you check the Oculus application to make sure the Quest 2 was running in quality mode and not performance or auto?
Also, I went into the debug tool for the Oculus app and set the "Encode Resolution Width" to 3664. Keep me updated :steamhappy:

Looks great on my Index with 500% increased resolution per eye.
What are your PC specs?
if your running the game at max settings already, sorry to break your bubble
but the game is not going to look any better then what the devs have in front of you

My specs are: i7-8700k, RTX 2070 overclocked +500 mem +210 core, 16gb 3000mhz ram, installed on ssd. It looks around the same on virtual desktop and link. I'll try increasing the resolution on the link cable for that, but I'm not sure why it looks so bad on virtual desktop. maybe it has something to do with my monitor overriding the vr resolution for this game only for some reason? idk

For me the game looks much better in vr if you turn bloom off, you could give that a try.

Omg thank you so much it looks so much better! The textures still look kind of blurry when around 10 feet away but it's playable. Thank you!!!!
