Never have I seen such an aggressive ghost

Normally I play the game with friend(s) and sometimes solo. Decided I wanted to play a round solo. Chose a farmhouse map on professional. Everything went like normal, got out of the truck and unlocked the front door. Looked for the light switch and turned it on.
Ghost didn't like that and turned it off right away. A little bit confused, I turned it on again, and the ghost instantly turned it off again, appeared physically making those grudge gurgling sounds and also singing to me at the same time. Decided to just leave, I'm not going in there.

Anyone had a ghost more aggressive than this?

I've had a demon start a hunt after being in the house for maybe 10-20 seconds.

Yesterday i played with 3 others. Farmhouse on prof. Two went upstairs entered the first room and they got immediately jumped by the ghost and it hunted them.

Was fun to hear their screams while i was outside and preparing the cameras xD

Oh I forgot to mention it was a spirit

I have had a couple cases where the ghost just keeps doing hunts over and over, so quickly and back to back you can't get out the building. Like doing 4 or 5 hunts in a row with only 5 seconds or so between hunts.

Last night, we had 3 back to back super passive ghosts on intermediate. I guess it heard me talking ♥♥♥♥ because the next house was just an amateur while we played with someone for their first time. As soon as the timer was up it was doing back to back hunts.

We could not get ANY evidence to show up for him. Couldn't find his location, orbs, anything. I then was killed by during a hunt while hiding in a closet but bugged so my body was in place but I was walking around in the game world and my friends could see me.

It then hunted and killed me again so two of my corpses were laying next to eachother (I finally turned into a ghost). We just hoofed it out of there at that point.

Less than a minute into a professional mission taking a new guy to show him the ropes. He's going back into the van to get more equipment. Friends are getting equipment they left upstairs as we just found the favorite room was the 2 car garage. I'm looking for prints in the garage.

While looking for prints with my flashlight off, I don't hear the ghost shut the door. Then the ghost turns out the light. Immediately it starts a hunt. I don't recognize this as I don't see any lights. Looking for the switch I see a figure and call out, "Did you shut off the light?" Then I see it flicker. This was when I knew I was dead, as I had been approaching it. Then it grabbed me.

The hunt happened so fast that my friends upstairs didn't even realize that there was a hunt. The new guy in the truck didn't know what to watch for so didn't give us warning. No one realized what happened until they found my body in the garage. Everyone had over 90% sanity at that point. I watched them bring down a Ouija board and start asking questions of the demon.

Of course it was a demon.

I feel like a lot of these are probably from people provoking the ghost. With a four person team you can't always be sure one person didn't wander off and do something crazy or was just calling it's name a lot.

What difficulty and if it was on a lower difficulty like Amateur or Intermediate, how low was your sanity when it started its hunts?

I've yet to see back to back hunts but my team and I rarely go below 50% sanity. We've done it a few times and had the daily yesterday to go to 0% sanity (that was fun), but usually its to purposefully get the ghost to interact with us or to take pics.

People need to realize in a game like this you gotta share all available data/information to stop bad conjectures. :p

The game relies heavily on RNG for what the ghost will do outside of the ghost's temperment for its ghost type. IE: Demon's will having higher chance to start hunts overall. So if the right conditions are met, you'll get a lot more hunts.

If you mean you had 5 back to back hunts on say professional difficulty when you entered the building, I would think that is insanely rare and next to impossible. Unless like it was a Mare with the lights off or it was a Demon or you bumped into its territory for Oni/Jinn and it was right in the front entrance. Have seen the latter happen before too. :|

With me it was just 2 player coop my friend and i, and yeah couldn't get 10 feet inside the house without it haunting.

I had a game like that too. Back to Back hunts. If your new to the game please don't run into the house at the start and start chanting its name. Even before we set up. Especially on Professional. One way to get everyone killed off. Sucks for the person who brings in more equipment. I can't stress it enough. Go in there with Thermometers and EMF. Find the room, get set up, and then get it revved up. Too many bossy people in this game from my experience. Have one leader which should be the person who is hosting the game and leave it at that. If I want to take my UV light back to the truck after not seeing any fingerprints then don't tell me to drop it in the room.

Yup, I once had a ghost manifest in the farmhouse next to the grandfather clock beside the stairs, within 3 seconds of entering the house. On amateur. I though oh damn, my first demon. It ended up not being a demon (which I've still never even had) and not being particularly aggressive later on either.
