Mute microphone VR

Hi, So first of all, game is great, last days I started using VR headset, but there is some problem for me. Microphone in-game is on all the time, I was trying to press X button on the left controller, but it didnt worked.

Could someone help me with this issue?

I'm having the same issue on the HTC Vive. The mute button doesn't appear to work.

Can confirm this issue on Vive, it'd be nice to be able to mute to talk to people IRL who are spectating, or just generally for privacy or courtesy reasons in a multiplayer game with strangers. I can't always control the noises made in a shared house.

Edit: I can hear the mic mute when I press the button but as soon as I release it the mic is open again.

I just wish they put up an icon for when you're muted.
