Ghost detects photo camera?

"Fixed a bug where ghost's wouldn't notice you holding a photo camera during a hunt (if the host was in the truck when you grabbed it)"
Saw this in patch notes and it confused me because I'm still learning a bit about the game. So will the ghost detect you taking photos during a hunt or detect that you have it on and sense where you are?

The latter. The photo cam is an electronic object which, when held, the ghost can track during a hunt to know where you are.

Welcome. While on the subject, make sure you turn off or drop any electronic object in your hand when the ghost is hunting (You cant turn off photo or vid cams, have to drop); Flashlight too.

When the ghost is hunting it can, as mentioned, track the electronics in-hand and your flashlight when it's on. :) (Anything in your second/third inventory slots don't get tracked, so don't worry about them...but also don't change your active slot during a hunt as your other slots May have something electronic in them and on.)
