how to run vr?

i use virtual desktop and a quest two, and when i open the game the frame rate is real bad. i tried messing with some settings but nothing seemed to work. my pc can handle the highest graphics settings. ive heard some other people had this problem, so if you know a way to fix it, i would greatly appreciate it.

Hello, I also had this problem, some people say that you need to change the quest settings, but that's not the problem. What helped me was closing all applications in the background, for example applications with Corsair computer backlight, etc. You could also install steamvr and use this application to launch phasmophobia :D I hope it helped, Regards.

The most recent patch 0.9.4.1 broke the performance of the game's VR support. Like it can drop to unplayable 2fps on systems where it was previously running solidly at 90fps before.
