So, to restate... You don't.
People where simply using 'wemod' to cheat on this game.
The "multiple" lobbies didnt cause instabillities to servers, and the only reason people thought so is because people exploited people's save by breaking them.
Meanwhile, Look at whats left of your freedom as a player?
You litterally can get banned for exploiting a minor thing in your own lobby that you host because bad apples think theyr entitled on your lobby.
Its why I only play with my friends, and with my friends I can do what I want, and should be able to do as I want too.
If that involves playing a modded game, then we should be able too.
If that involves loading a custom map someone made, we should be able to do that. It's all replay value in the end. Thats what I care about as a player. Always have.
There's litterally the issue of crossplay becoming a thing so we cant ever do that now anymore because the developers arnt capable to making a PC mod friendly version of the game that people can play. What they got to lose on that?
It's what EVERYONE says because that's what happened. We were here, we saw the updates, we experienced the server problems, we saw it and had it happen in front of us.
Take the useless conspiracy theories elsewhere, like Twit-ter. I'm sure you can find many likeminded people there that like pretending reality isn't real and their made up fairytales are.
You clearly weren’t here during those times so you have no right to make this crap up.
That was the problem with lobbys. There where no inherent server troubles itself. Technically any mod can corrupt your save game on any game. That wasnt nessecairy the problem with modded lobbies itself. This whole fiasco about 'server sstabilitiy' why was I able to play the game constantly back then? every single day? o.O
Save game issues where also caused by 4 player lobbies but w/e.
What am I making up there?
That the devs wont ban you for doing a minor exploit because 3 people in your lobby dont like it? Did I ever mention private lobby? I clearly ment if I hosted a lobby, thats public, I can get banned because 3 people are unhappy if I exploit using a save space in my hosted lobby and I dont need your permission to do so? :P
The suggestion to allow more than four players in Phasmophobia is not merely an affront to the principles of game design and player experience; it is a brazen disregard for the sanctity of digital ghost hunting. It represents a leap, not of faith, but of folly, into an abyss where the very essence of what makes Phasmophobia captivating is lost. May we remain content with our quartet of ghost hunters, lest we disturb the delicate balance and unleash chaos upon our screens and sanity.
Lethal company on the other hand IS peer to peer, So it doesn't matter if you mod there because when you host YOU are the host, not the lethal company devs, and at worst, you're only ever affecting the players in your lobby with you, and having zero impact on other players in other lobbies.
so if I host a lobby on theyr dedicated servers, and I want to make use of a save spot exploit, then I should be able to w/o being banned. I dont affect other players fyi by hosting a lobby where I allow the use of exploits.
Why should I be banned when I am the host of a lobby? If people complain I will just remove them from my game. It's quite simple. We have tools to deal with that.
And if you dont like it there's always the option to use peer 2 peer for mod support.
Would be better for this game anyway cause the only way they're gonna keep this game alive is by delivering timely updates which so far, seems to not be the case apart from fomo events that are temperairy and dont really add to the overall state of the game.
Why did you mention LC anyway, because I replied to someone else who talked about chaos?
