Once there, all you need to do is make sure your listed default device is your microphone.
- If it's not - make sure to do so obviously
- If it is already your default device, but there is a second source listed as the default communications device, make both defaults be on your microphone.
- If both defaults are already pointing to it and you were still having issues despite this, temporarily switch the defaults to another listed source (enabling one temporarily if necessary), hit apply... and then put them back and apply the changes again.
The above process has proven to me as a consistent fix whenever I've had voice recognition issues with things like the Spirit Box. Probably won't help with player communication however - that could be a different issue altogether that voice recognition is not involved in.
They are also looking to change from Photon Voice to Vivox voice chat as well, but this may just be to prepare the game for the upcoming console versions and my not affect voice recognition quality at all.
