How does the Easter event work?

Do I have to take photos of each bunny rim? Doesn't seem to work for me.

you have to use the glowsticks to activate the minigame- and then from there you have to go around finding the little tracks and when you reach a nest you need to use the dots to see if you see a little jackalope and then take a picture.

Quick notes for anyone who wonders, you can set the ghost to friendly and do infinite sprint with 150% speed to burn through this quick. Much faster than some of the previous events. I didn't try it on the final step since I wanted to play normal by then, but it does work fine for finding the 5 bunnies.

So it seems you have to light up the prints with the glowstick until they sparkle to get the next set to appear, and keep doing that until you get to the final nest where the bunny appears.

Yeah, keep trying the same BS until the RNG decides you've wasted enough time and hands you the next clue. Bloody hell it's tedious and I've tried it twice. Some times the next prints start right off the bat, other times it jerks you around for a bit before they finally kick in.

Anyone know for sure if the print chasing is necessary or if we can just dots every nest and cheese it? These events just never get any better. The snowman one was just plain awful and even with written guides and videos you still missed some on certain maps.

From what we worked out on the one map it didn't trigger in the doorway is that you need to find all the paths, or at least most of them. Think it was the farm that got dodgy and didn't trigger the footprints till we'd looped the building. Other than that it's not difficult to work out.

Walk onto site.
See basket that's not normally there.
Basket has items.
Take half a second to realise that using these items might be helpful.
Trigger footprints with UV and follow them.
Find empty nest.
Take photo? No photo doesn't give any stars.
Use D.O.T.S on nest, still empty.
Notice footprints go off in other directions.
Rinse and repeat.
Get jump scared by rabbit when you eventually find it and photo it as you have sounds loud in this game. Also the correct nest when activated will give off a sound before you even D.O.T.S it.
