The T1 EMF reader is inaccurate- It spikes randomly above what the actual EMF value is, like an actual analog reader would do. So you need to see what the stable value is- Not what the spikes are.
IE: If you see it hovering at EMF4, but it occasionally spikes up into 5, That';s not an EMF 5- It's an EMF 4. EMF5 on the T1 reader will have it hovering AT 5 and spiking up to 'High' at the end of the meter.
Second less likely alternative, You didn't perchance consider a disturbed salt pile to be UV evidence, did you? You need to actually verify a UV print, not just see disturbed salt.
Edit: I realized after I sent this that EMF and UV are evidence for Goryo.. So that's definitely not right that you got writing. Third evidence should've been DOTS
But Writing is kinda hard to mess up... How did you verify writing as an evidence? Step by step

Breath is not an indication of Freezing temps. It hasn't been for months now.
Seeing your breath does help you narrow down where the ghost is.
As the others have said, seeing breath is no longer an indication there are freezing temps. You will see your breath when in the correct room with all ghosts. And if you didn't know that, just in case, the EMF board in the truck is not a reliable way to get EMF 5 either. You need to use the appropriate tool in the appropriate location to get the actual evidence - there is no reliable way to get the actual evidence without proper use of the tools.
Goryos are tricky since their DOTs can only be seen by cameras, and they usually won't DOTs when someone is in the same room. So you basically have to stand outside the ghost room with a camera looking in to see DOTs consistently. It's probably one of the hardest evidences to get if you aren't actively checking for it.
As others have said, misreading EMF 5 is a very easy thing to do on Tier 1. In general, good practice is to try to get multiple EMF 5 readings to make sure.
However, and I'm glad I checked, Goryo's evidence is DOTs, EMF and UV, so you actually misread ghost writing, not EMF 5. Normally ghost writing is pretty obvious to tell if the book has been written in or not. I'm guessing you might have had the ghost throw the book instead of writing in it and thought that counted?
Breath now shows up at 5C and below, Freezing is at -0.1C and below. You can use your breath to help find the ghost room, but now ALL ghosts can show your breath instead of just the Freezing Temps ghosts.
Kinda like how now only ghosts with UV evidence will give foot prints pictures, or Fingerprints on doors, windows, or light switches now.
Also Ghosts with Ghost Writing will actually write in the book but ALL ghosts will throw the book if they decide to try using it and 1 they don't have Ghost Writing as an evidence OR 2 They have already wrote in that book if they can write in it.
