1. Go into the game directory
2. Right click on phasmo.exe and go into properties and then into the compatibility tab
3. Check "disable fullscreen optimizations" and "run this program as administrator"
4. Also go into "change high dpi settings" and check the box that says "Override high dpi scaling behaviour(...)" and have the box below it say "application".
Note that this fix worked wonders for me. It shortened the loading time and I had my game bug out only once during the session....but it comes at a price of losing the in game steam overlay. But I think I might have found an alternative if you want to keep it which is to not check the run as admin box in the phasmo properties and simply launch steam as administrator... To do this you go into steam files and go into steam.exe properties and check run as admin. This will make steam run as admin and will display a "runnin steam in compatibility mode" which you can just ignore or check not to display every time you run it.
Also note that this all worked but I've also done all the fixes stated above while voicing my issue and had my texture resolution put to half (still looks good) so just maybe it all kinda works together but let me know if it actually did something for you.
This worked for me!! :) thank you!!
