NO SOUND

Tried verifying files, tried messing with windows output setings
No sound.

do you have a VR headset? it likes to use the speakers to that when i play desktop

Did have oculus connectied via cable (turned off) coincidently. Unfortunatelly no change after disconnecting.

I found a fix (i also answered a similar problem in the discussions).
I have oculus, but now I'm playing on the desktop.

Just renamed file in directory (SteamPhasmophobiaLocalFiles)/Phasmophobia_data/plugins/x86_64/openxr_loader.dll (to openxr_loader_backup.dll for example)

And the sound started working for me. Probably, if I want to play Oculus, I'll have to rename this file back.

It started working for me. Not sure what happened, but I had Oculus disconnected for some time. I assume drivers or whatnot need some time to unregister the audio device. I assume if I restarted after disconnecting it would work immediately.

If you disable Oculus Mic and headphones in sound devices, sound will work again.
