Hacker detected instead of level

Why would it say hacker detected when other people look at my level but when I see it on my screen in says level 59?

Either you cheated/editied your save file/etc, Or you recently did the weekly challenge and got false-flagged, which should auto-clear eventually, probably. Go to the phasmophobia discord and contact modmail if it doesn't.

Well I definitely did not cheat. I would have no clue how to do that.

if i recall correctly you can get falsely flagged if you do a bunch of high paying games in a very short amount of time; it should go away eventually

It's just a glitch in their detection algorithm, happens occasionally (as they said, the weekly challenge payout tends to trigger it periodically for some). It should not affect your ability to play the game at all, so if you weren't using any cheats or anything, you can safely disregard.
