First, the one minute setup timer lets you get some things out there to help: I put both DOTS readers and the EMF reader out so that I can hear a Raiju speed up if it gets near them (after the first hunt, if I couldn't tell, I remove all but one electronic).
Second, get salt down on the ground in multiple spots to test for Wraith.
Third, get both crucifixes down around the picnic tables just inside the entrance.
Last, get your parabolic mic and wait for the ghost to hunt.
Now, the ghost speed is at 150% so they will all be fast, but the real speedsters (Raiju, Hantu, Thaye, and Moroi) will be very obvious when their speed kicks in. If the ghost is anywhere near normal speed, it's a Revenant. Furthermore, ghost interactions are likely turned way up...I got a Polty Pile get throw 2 seconds into my second hunt, so that was a nice one and done. Use the para mic to listen to the ghost at range so you can hear its footsteps better.
This one is a lot about using the audio queues and hidden tells of a ghost to ID them, so if you're not good at that, just skip this one and hope for something else next week instead.
Interesting is subjective. You're welcome to not find something fun and not engage in it. Complaining you don't find it fun or interesting is a bit moot when it's an optional challenge designed for more difficult investigations.
Having to actually know the mechanics of the game.. an be able to pick up on the ghosts tells sounds like a challenge to me.. Its not like you lose anything if you fail.. Just do it again an hope its something easier to identify o.O Its like people just expect a free ' level up ' button.. its not like you need the exp.. or money.. that whole metric is still a bloody JOKE..
Over a thousand cases completed. Maybe you just need to take a shower and touch some grass if you can sniff out what the ghost is at modified base speeds. It's counter to the normal mechanics of the game.
