problem with microphone detection

Hello, I have a problem with the microphone in the game on Windows 11. In theory, everything in the system is set correctly and the microphone is detected by other applications such as Discord, but it does not work in Pasmophobia

If you are talking about chatting with other players then it is a known bug. If you are talking about voice recognition then you can fix it. Some update added vosk as a voice recognition which in my opinion is trash and for me has never worked. Simply go into your settings and change it to windows. Everything should work again.

I don't have a solution for talking with other players if that's the issue. It's a hit and miss.

I am also getting these issues. Tried literally every fix I could find online. Tried a different headset, Also tried going on the discord and following their own guide. And nothing. Seen a good few others with this issue, hope a fix comes soon.

That sucks. Im sorry my advice didn't help. It worked for me. I know there are lots of reports about this issue so it's not you. It's the game for sure. I do hope you find a workaround though.

I play on steam deck and i literally cannot use voice chat in singleplayer but i can in multiplayer. it is hilarious to think i cannot complete the tutorial, but be level 26
