Quiet Spirit?
Been playing this for a bit with friends and we're now doing 1 evidence hunts. Most of the time we can ID the ghost, but twice recently we've misidentified a Spirit as a Myling. In both cases the ghost was really quiet when hunting. The most recent case was just now, doing Ridgeview Court. My friend was waiting in the basement to smudge the ghost and couldn't hear it at all even when it was on the stairs right in front of him! So of course we went with Myling... nope, it was a Spirit.
Have the Spirits been made quieter, or have we just been duped by the sound?

Yeah Spirit seems to be quiet hunter time to time, if you get quiet ghost hunts better check for possible spirit by smudging ghost room and then wait, Spirit should't be able to hunt for 3mins after smudge

Sound occlusion in this game is still a bit wonky, hearing things on floors above and below you is going to be way quieter than it should, the same thing on stairs,

Better try to stand far away from the ghost and use the flashlight or other electronics. For Myling and Raiju, electronics will get jammed before you hear the footsteps, which is not really possible to test that good in Ridgeview basement.

As for the sound, ghosts have been made quiter in general, especially across different floors. On top of that, some floor types are also quite than others and stairs in particular, making the basement even harder to use for a Myling test
