Also, I was under the impression that Snow, Heavy Rain, and Fog all gave the same multiplier. At least, it doesn't change the 15x multiplier when doing Apoc3.
That said, as of now it only affects the Hantu directly in particular due to it being dependend on the temperatures of the room it is in. Snowy weather it therefore the strongest weather for it, while in clear weather it is significantly weaker.
On top of that, for campsite maps in particular, snow weather can also make it harder to see ghost orbs and as others said, heavy rain extinguishes most fires and rain makes it harder to hear things.
Personally, if going for higher rewards, i would always pick snow for buildings, if the fuse box is available or heavy rain if it's not available and for campsite maps, i would prefer fog weather. But overall, just see, what is best for you in any case.
