Impact Of Heavy Rain
I noticed in the custom mode menu that heavy rain (stormy) gives the highest multiplier with snow coming in second. I can see how snow gives a higher multiplier because it makes the house start out colder. What does heavy rain do? Why is it the highest multiplier? Does it make [certain] ghosts stronger or something?

Heavy rain prevents you from lighting T1 and T2 Firelights and Igniters. It also stops you from lighting the campfires on the campsite maps.

Also, I was under the impression that Snow, Heavy Rain, and Fog all gave the same multiplier. At least, it doesn't change the 15x multiplier when doing Apoc3.

Also the sound from heavy rain can make it harder to hear the ghost noises if they are far. So hunt walking speeds, distance vs noise, finding the room via interactions, etc... all a little harder to hear.

Weather isn't just visual or audioable, but every weather option also has a specific default temperature, which every room will start with at the start of the investigation and to which point the temperatures will change towards while not being affected by the ghost or the fuse box.

That said, as of now it only affects the Hantu directly in particular due to it being dependend on the temperatures of the room it is in. Snowy weather it therefore the strongest weather for it, while in clear weather it is significantly weaker.

On top of that, for campsite maps in particular, snow weather can also make it harder to see ghost orbs and as others said, heavy rain extinguishes most fires and rain makes it harder to hear things.

Personally, if going for higher rewards, i would always pick snow for buildings, if the fuse box is available or heavy rain if it's not available and for campsite maps, i would prefer fog weather. But overall, just see, what is best for you in any case.
