To note also, No, You don't have to bring items back to the truck to retain them when leaving- as long as you don't die, items are retained aside from consumable ones which will only be lost if you actually used them in the mission.
Only one loadout can have Auto-Buy enabled, so I put it on the ALL loadout - it only buys what you need to make the loadout usable, and since the ALL loadout is a full truck worth... it means you will always have a full truck available to you... provided you have the cash on hand to pay the bill.
Auto-Buy also has priority over Auto-Add, which means if you apply Auto Add to the loadout you plan on using all the time, and Auto Buy to the ALL loadout.... you realistically never have to touch the shop UI again outside of the purchase 3 items daily... which honestly is debatable these days if it's worth the time
2) Maybe want to read the replies instead of blindly adding extra information like that - Shurenai already covered what you're yelling about in her initial message
Learn to read.
You still have to actually use the consumable though. It remains in your inventory, outside of investigations, for you to add back to the truck in a future investigation if not consumed in the previous.
No need to be rude. It actually wasn't clear. I'm not referring to items being lost whether dying or not, I'm elaborating on not losing consumables when not used (and obviously not dying). Slightly different, and in addition to what you're saying, rather than repeating or arguing it.
This could read that you lose all consumables you bring into a contract regardless of whether you actually use them during the contract. I was just elaborating that unused consumables remain in your inventory for future contracts. You don't need to re-purchase them each contract if not used.
This might not have been information you needed, but others might.
