Also, ghosts can path to behind most of the hiding spots on Woodwind, not a bug, just bad RNG. if you're doing the weekly challenge, there's a very short grace period, so you're likely bringing the ghost to your location without realizing it.
Potentially another issue is how ghost target finding works - you have 3 "targets" (each shoulder and head) and the ghost has to see 2 of them to see you. When you are crouched and move, even just a little, you kinda pop up a little, so if you're trying to snuggle into the barrel/tent corner, you might be up enough for the ghost to see you, even if you are crouched.
Also, potentially your positioning can phase portions of your model through the barrels, making it visible to the ghost (see targeting point above)
Haven't tested this much myself, but my friend tried to hide there several times this week and died every time. I have successfully managed to hide there more often than not. I believe it's because they're moving around more or aren't up against the barrels or are just darn unlucky.
TL;DR - don't think it's a bug, just a really hard hiding spot to get right (or an easier one to mess up, take your pick)
