Hunt @90% sanity

Ok so i need clarification i just had a demon hunt with at least 90% sanity bc when we came out the sanity was still at 86%. No curse item used just started hauling it at me from the living room on the first map. best part is i happened to be recording but i genuinely need to know: What sanity can demons hunt at?

Double checked the video we were in the house for approximately 30 seconds when the hunt started

Demons naturally hunt at 70% average team sanity or lower, but also have an ability that can let them ignore normal sanity rules and just hunt at any sanity level (this includes sanity as high as 100%) if they so choose. It's uncommon, but completely intended.

OP, you will now never feel safe entering a house knowing that it could be an insta hunt Demon ability at any moment.

Yep. Only thing more terrifying than that is a Mimic that mimics a wraith to teleport to you and happens to switch to demon and hunts at high sanity....while it's right there next to you.

Bonus points if it did this across the map on like, asylum or high school, and you thought you were 100% safe where you were.

That is incorrect. The Mimic changes what ghost it's mimicking every 30-120 seconds. It cannot change during a hunt though, which might be what you're thinking of- but inability to swap the ghost it's mimicking during a hunt does not preclude it from being a wraith outside a hunt, teleporting to the player, and switching to a demon and using the demon's ability to initiate a hunt right after.
