Talk To Ghost

Hello I am French and I would have liked to know in the game can we talk to the ghost with the French language? If yes, what sentence are recorded in the game? Because if I ask him to write on the book etc etc he does not inform us of the words that we must say.

Is there a tutorial?


And also a tutorial that explains what are the possible communications with him, for example I can ask him to close a door or do something else?

You could search for a french Phasmo wiki to see, if there's a list with all potential sentences.

Alternatively you could set the game language to french and the Voice Recognition to text. If you then use the action button with the spirit box, Ouija Board or Monkey Paw the game will show you all possible sentences, which you can try to remember.

Also for the monkey paw the sentences are scattered around Sunny Meadows, written down onto cards. Once picked up they'll appear within the journal on the page of the monkey paw.

And you can't ask the ghost to do something specific. Talking to it will slowly rise it's activity, but you've to wait for RNG to get the stuff you need.

As for the tutorial it isn't really helpful in that regard. It's not announced yet, but i wouldn't be surprised, if it get reworked in the 2nd or 3rd progression update.

You can speak French but I recommend you to switch to Windows Speech Recognition, and not the integrated, default, one because it's very bad with French.

Also note that some French translations, for the recognition, aren't correct; so take a look at the recognized sentences in a guide to make sure you are using the right wording.

In addition to being bad for French recognition, Vosk made my game crash very often.

It sadly is an English game. With 3 English developers. Not too surprised that Ghosts understanding French is tough.

They didn't made the voice recognition, they just included them. And VOSK in particular is just an open source project, so it highly depends on who works on it, Windows however shoudn't be that, given that it has tons of money and french being quite important on the market.
