Stuck loading game

Hi, I've been playing this game a lot with some friends, and never had any problems until now

Since the last update today, I can't join any games, be it multiplayer or single player
I'm able to join lobbies, select a map, and put my items; but the moment I start the game or someone else starts, my game gets stuck on the loading screen, and it never loads beyond 5% sometimes it even gets stuck at 0% and sometimes it even makes my PC freeze

We wanted to play together today, but I could never join the games, please help

Verify the integrity of the game files through steam. If that does't work just try reinstalling the game maybe the files updated and got corrupted in transit, hopefully that works...but if that doesn't fix it then I do have one question.

Do you have your game install on a separate Hard Drive than your main OS? IF so it may be crapping out on you. Are other games giving you issues on your computer?

I forgot to say in my original post, but I've already tried doing a repair, reinstall, and didn't work either

I have it installed on a second hard drive, because my main drive is an SSD and it hast no space left, but that never gave me any problems at all

Phasmo is the only game that's not working on my library
