Head Gear

After the new update, the headgear does not work as it did before. The camera footage from the head gear is not transferred to the truck. Does anyone have the same problem? Or does the camera have to be activated in some other way?

I never tried the head gear after I heard people couldn't turn the light off and were getting killed during hunts alot.

only the first level of the head strap is a cam, the 2 is a lantern and the 3 is night vision, if you're aware of that it may be a bug

yes, it needs to be activated by holding the flashlight button for like a second (T on default). You get a beeping sound when it switches on/off. Keep in mind, that even the T1 headgear attracts the ghost, so make sure to switch it off during hunts.

And as the others said, T2 and T3 doesn't have a camera feature, so you've to decide, what you want from it.

The head gear can all be turned on by holding down the button you use for turning on the flashlight, default button is 'T' I think. You should hear a beep if you have the tier 1 head cam on, a click for the tier 2 headlamp and the tier 3 night vision headgear will make a power up sound and the goggles will drop down in front of the characters eyes.

It literally says if you look on the upgrade page - "Hold the Special Interaction Button to toggle on/off the head gear" - this function was added to ALL tiers of headgear as each have a unique function, as all three tiers are now considered Electronics (so the ghost can detect them)

Default keybind for the special interaction button is T - if this was changed, it will be same button you tap to turn on your flashlight when it's not held in hand.
