Prestige exploit!

Imagine getting mad for seeing players doing the 12x multiplier exploit for bragging rights just because you are incapable of doing it yourself because you are just bad at the game 🤡🤡

I don't like it because it's incredibly boring and has a noticeable amount of inaccuracy. I don't mind people using it since the pestiges aren't worth it atm; that said, they should absolutely patch the safe spot.

Sometimes I think this game should have come out 20 years before... then we wouldn't have all these creatures doing this. This is what happened when people are given a narcissistic world view... which most young people today have.

Sometimes I think this game should have come out 20 years before... then we wouldn't have all these creatures doing this. This is what happened when people are given a narcissistic world view... which most young people today have.

I blame the ever degrading school systems and restrictions on parental discipline.

Talk about pathetic. "Mad because bad" no people just feel that it is boring and pointless to max out prestige. Honestly, what do you get out of it? You spend hours upon hours at Woodwind, getting the ghost right 50% of the time if even. All for a badge in a video game.

Not only is it just sweaty but you get nothing for it. I'd be surprised if everyone grinding for prestige doesn't get burned out after completing their little mission. I'd get pushing for prestige five if the devs released cosmetics for it. But there's literally nothing for any of the current prestige levels.

Or you are just too lazy to do it, so don't do it then in protest... but don't exploit your way to get there because you are too lazy. You can't do that in the real world.

What a bizarre argument to make. I'm not going to play 200 hours of Woodwind for an icon because I'm lazy? No it's because I have a life and know that a stupid little icon in a video game is meaningless. You have fun with your grinding. About as useful as speed running Super Mario World.

I'd rather go through the process of getting a perfect run by investigating through a house but that's just me I guess

If you find it boring, don't do it? Every map has a place to kite the ghost, because the Deogen is a thing. The only reason people do Woodwind is because there's a place right at the gate.
It is neither cheating, nor an exploit to break line of sight with the ghost. If you think that way, then guess what? Every time you hide in a closet, or behind boxes, you're cheating and exploiting the game, because you broke line of sight with the ghost.
I've said it before, so I'll say it again. It's a mechanic that some people have the confidence to pull off, and others don't. If you don't, it doesn't mean you're bad at the game, just that you're growing your confidence, which will come with time.

I can understand your point and yes I agree about the inaccuracy and that the prestigeing system perhaps is not worth it and is more for bragging rights but yeah!!

Dude, there is a difference between "bad at the game" and "I want to put myself through hell to unlock better tiers that will help me", 9/10 times I can tell when someone is bad at the game! I can understand those who want to just play safe and chill, maybe even just grow confidence as one person in the comments say but I dont tolerate people going around saying: punish those who use the exploit because first off it is a legit game mechanic and second if they should punish US for grinding the exploit THEN they should punish those who also go into hiding and blah blah....like bruh!

I wont deny you have some points, yes the reward is meaningless other than bragging rights, and the cosmetics thing you said is a brilliant idea, the reasoning behind this discussion being started was because I saw another guy who got mad for people who exploit and well I kinda got bonking mad and felt the need to "reply" by creating this thread!!!! I dont care about who roasted me right now I couldnt care less! XD But yeah I agree with most of your points!!!
