VR How to Rotate and Place Items

When playing in regular 2D mode by default if you press and hold the F key it will show the item as translucent and grey allowing you to rotate the item and place it. Does anyone know how to do this in VR? I am using a quest 2.

This is helpful because
1) its less strain on your wrist
and
2) some items you need this method to be placed on walls such as DOTS sensors.

you can't, they let you have the placeholder to rotate in non VR for obvious reasons, but in VR it's just not needed, you manually, physically, literally, rotate it yourself, i play only in VR and i never had a problem placing stuff, just takes some practice

Just because its not VR doesnt mean its 2d....

3d is still a thing. You live in it.
