Hey, since they changed the game alot, is it still mods friendly without any risk for ban

If you are caught with mods, you will be banned to just single player.

There was never a time, where modding was tolerated, though since the ban system introduction it is now also punishable and will most likely stay that way for the future.

And yet despite this clear stance on the matter - people insist that workshop, which is really just an official platform for mods, should be utilized. Some people are just way too impatient I suppose

Only mod I want is Scooby Doo character models, and mystery machine for the van. Maybe play some Monkee's esque music during the hunt, and when you go through a door you teleport out another door in the same hallway....... Ok maybe just the models.

I don't mean to sound rude, but our opinion is ultimately irrelevant on whether or not using mods is okay.

Kinetic says no mods allowed, and they have not only enforced that policy, but have shown that they will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. That's enough for me honestly... I don't mind mods myself, but I'm not gonna risk a ban over them.

Our opinion might be 'invalid' because devs in the end 'choice' . That doesnt change opinion thou. And you dont get banned for voicing your opinion.

You took that out of context, so let me make my opinion on the matter crystal clear:

I don't mind one way or another about using mods, hell I use them in a couple games even - but if the devs wish for the game to not be modded, and are going to actively issue bans for the use of mods... then I'm gonna respect and comply with their decision and play purely vanilla.

they've long since been unsupported by those who did work on them... as the modmakers took a similar mindset to mine, in which they've respected Kinetics immovable stance on the matter.

No. They never wanted people using mods on thier game. They will perma ban you and ban you from their discord.
