Low FPS on Decent pc
So yea...i kinda gave up on Phasmo its my last straw.
After dunno what recent update, Im getting low fps 45 and some maps as low as 30 fps, i waited for other few patches to see any fixes nothing, did some research nothing helped.
I use to run this game over 60 fps with no problem even while streaming as well.

Specs: Ryzen 5600 and AMD 5600 XT, 32 gb ram
Also one of my buddies that has same specs except for the GPU he has 1070 not Ti he runs it perfectly.

Any help would be appreciated if not ill wait... for other updates and play Demonologist.

Devs aren't too concerned with how it performs, unless one of their precious CC's has issues.

Only thing I can suggest, is to lower settings and force vsync with adrenaline. in-game vsync does nothing. I've got 32GB, 5600x, 6950xt and I get 120fps+ however with micro stuttering and random 3-5sec freezing.

It literally does nothing the vsync, even putting everything on lowest.

Probably what's got it tripped up in the engine update that came from Tempest 0.8, been noticing a fair amount of recent troubles popping out of that.

Engine is overall stronger (because it's no longer the default kit engine from Unity), but to have it be optimized for every possible PC build is.... well to be blunt.... impossible, especially with an unfinished game which has yet to enter the polishing phase of development and will not likely reach it anytime soon.

Give it time, and everything should hopefully iron itself out. In the meantime, try a file verification, see if there isn't anything wrong internally that could be causing the issue.

idk anything about amd. i have a 3080 and i'm running the game around 300+ fps with settings all maxed out. i get frame drops every now and again but nothing worth noticing if i didn't have afterburner running on my screen. is what you have similar to a 3080?

More likely 3060 ti and i dont use afterburner. My friend that has 1070 runs 100+ and my GPU is better than a 1070. After Xmas event i couldnt play phasmo low fps on every setting.
Reinstalled... i moved it to SSD etc... nothing.

guys make sure you dont have the power plan to "Balanced". If you do then switch to "High Performance" and try again. I have a 3060ti 32gb ram and 12600k and it was running poorly because of the power plan.

I have an RTX 3060and I run the game at a rock solid 59.9 FPS (which is the refresh rate of my monitor, for some reason) with Vsync on. Between this and the other people commenting here, I would hazard a guess and say that a) it just doesn't run well on AMD cards and/or b) you should try a different driver version (newer isn't always better, some games do get worse every other driver version.)

Or maybe there's something wrong with your PC. A failing power supply or lack of airflow could cause these issues while being hard to detect.

Till Xmas it ran perfectly, so it cant be "amd cards", i changed my drivers too didnt make too much of a difference.
As for something wrong with my pc, its alright as i run other games well and i dont have any issues while streaming. Its literally this game.

Doesn't affect desktop, its more for laptops for their battery consumption, or if you're relying on a Generator/UPS

I'd try reinstalling the game, other than that, not really sure what else can be causing that low of FPS other than FSR being on when you don't need it to be.

It could be the drivers... or not, i need to check. It wasnt FSR or VSR, but i saw a 5 fps difference when i turned off AMD Noise Suppression. And i did change to modded Drivers to be able to get some features.
There was an other game on SAME ENGINE that had similar problems but they Fixed them "Escape From Tarkov" but it was few years ago.
Edit : Or windows. Sigh dunno bunch of speculations...I enjoyed the game a lot, its really a shame. I will try to test an older version of the game if it runs good then blame the game, if it run bad the same its from my pc/side fault

doesn't surprise me. they're using URP and haven't done many optimization patches.
