Shouldn't happen any other time though.
So in a theoretical state, it could blow the breaker by turning on one too many lights, then do it's fuse box interaction to turn it back on by the time someone can reach it.
Course, it could also be a bug with the fuse box state not swapping when the breaker trip happened. Hard to say really... but I haven't heard of fuse box being wonky after the update.
EDIT oh yeah, forgot about that detail that Shurenai mentioned - yeah ghosts turn off all the lights after a hunt concludes. kind of annoying, but at least it's a way to tell when a hunt is over.
I thought it was a new ghost ability at first that came with 2.0
It makes it very, very clear that your crucifix was just consumed.
That was either a end of a hunt or a crucifix use. I've never seen a ghost turn off all of the lights at the same moment and leave the breaker on other than those two situations.
Active hunt ends: Lights off, Breaker on.
Attempted hunt blocked by crucifix: Lights off, breaker on.
Additionally, ANY ghost can flip switches on- You(Flash) may have only had on lights in the living room, utility, kitchen, dining, and basement lights on; But if the ghost turns on enough additional lights it can flip the breaker anyway. If you weren't paying attention it's entirely possible the ghost was flipping switches elsewhere and your count of active lights was off. Also, It's not just room lights that count towards the breaker- Small light sources like table lamps count too, and ghosts LOVE to turn those on.
And, as another option, It is entirely possible, albeit unlikely, for the ghost to flip the breaker back to ON after it gets tripped by the excess of lights- Resulting in a breaker that is on but all lights are off.
Couple other possibilities too, i think, but, that covers most of the common ones. By far the most likely candidates are an active hunt ending or a crucifix blocking a hunt. And especially, don't forget that Onryo specifically can attempt to hunt and have it's hunt prevented by a candle- That'll also nuke the lights but leave the breaker on, iirc. (Mimic too, by proxy)
Well not 100% true as Mare's cannot turn lights on. Post patch they can with the TV and the computer but not lights.
