Legacy badge rolled back to level 1

I loaded the game after the update and was unable to customize my badge. I ended up just saying "screw it" and pressed save so I could play with my friends, but now I'm stuck with an extremely ugly green badge with stars that only displays lvl. 1. Is a fix for this problem in the works? And making the badge customization a ONE TIME OPTION for legacy players is ridiculous.

Same problem. I was unlucky enough to play the new update on the first day too, and I got the bugged badge. They made a fix so it doesn't happen to anyone else, but it doesn't look like it affected the people who got screwed to begin with.

I even realized I had an old save file on a USB drive from when i was resetting my computer, but the cloud save file is overriding it when I log in. It's really dumb that they forced a permanent thing like this without checking for a bug like that or allowing a one-time reset for everyone after they found out about the bug. Hopefully when they release the updated player models they'll do something about it.

The reset was going to happen regardless if they added the badge or not, the badge was just a way to give people something shiny & to show levels after reset. It has no impact on the game if the badge is correct or not but getting the badge even if it is lvl 1 means it boosted you to prestige 1 already as it did see that you did play before the update so at the very least its not a full reset, just cant see what level you were before the update.

In the long run, the reset wasn't done with the right intentions - nor was it thought out as to how it would affect the casual / lesser experienced player base.

Higher skilled players are rewarded with an invisible friendship bracelet that they are only ever allowed to customize once (after putting in hundreds/thousands of hours into the title) and while THEY (myself included) can run a mission with little to no issue (thus re-leveling and unlocking items/gear/money/etc at a quick pace due to experience), the lesser experienced / casual players are stuck with no money, awful tools and even more frustration due to how buggy and lackluster the update was overall.

same problem i was over lvl 100 somewhere and now im lvl 1 i stopped playing a long time now that all my stuff i had is gone i dont really wanna play if i get this legacy badge its like a middle finger to the people who loved this game when it became big if its broke
