Whats the point of hiding?

My partner and myself have been slowly levelling we are both 18 and 19, and have decided with the 2nd tier flash light to try intermediate. Since playing the new difficulty.. Each time the ghost goes into hunt mode... regardless to where we hide, Whether on the complete other side of the house/building... the ghost beelines straight to 1 of us and insta kills. We both have all electronics turned off out sanity rare is below 60%. There's been times where visually it is impossible for the ghost to have seen where we have hid, yet the ghost always find us. Anyone having similar issues?

There is a type of ghost that can always sense you,
Questions, where exactly are you hiding? Some furniture may not count as a hiding spot, and may not actually be hiding you,
Do you have voice activation on? The ghost can hear you. Are you sure the ghost 100% beelines for you? and it's not just Rng ♥♥♥♥♥♥ you over?

Are you wearing headcams? And are you turning those off too alongside any other electronic you might have in hand? They do indeed count as electronics and are easy to forget since they aren't in hand.

Are you playing with push to talk or open mics? As the other guy said, the ghost can hear you.

I can say that hiding spots are definitely not working, but you do need to be in an actual hiding spot...there are some that are semi-safe if the ghost doesn't path by, but you can spot areas on maps where the layout changes. Maybe there's a pile of boxes where there wasn't before, or a closet is full of stuff when it was open. Those are the "real" hiding spots where the ghost won't find you if you're quiet with all your stuff of. For closets and lockers, the ghost CAN open the doors as it paths by, but if you close the doors quickly, it won't find you.

Or, as people mentioned, there's Deogen/Deo-Mimic, those cannot be hidden from and must be kited around in circles or smudged to survive.
