Mic is quiet to everyone else

Apparently when I use my mic its too quiet for people to hear me. I get told my mic is too quiet and they can barely hear me. I checked all sound settings for windows being defaulted and set to my specific headphones w/ mic all set to 100 volume levels. At this point Idk what to do other than buy a new headset. Any other suggestions?

I think many people are currently facing this issue, myself included. when I play phasmo, I HAVE to have my volume (both in-game and my computer) at 100, or I can't hear crap. And I also can't hear people at all when they talk with B most of the time, and I've noticed that they cannot hear me when I use B to talk, either. Pretty damn annoying.

It got borked after the update, I can't hear anybody even with maxed out settings. Used to work fine

I feel like the game could do with having separate volume sliders for game volume and voice volume right now. Just having the ability to double a specific players volume at the maximum, or reduce every single audible thing in the game as one doesn't really cut for those with really quiet mics.

We had the same problem after the update and just noticed that the volume slider for each other person in the party was at just 50%. You need to manually change the volume of each person at the bulletin board.

i have the same problem, everyone's voice is too quiet and even sounds with digital cracking since the update.

Me and my friends have same issue, even with maxed out sound for plaeyrs we are barely able to hear eachother even when we are standing next to each other. All other sounds seem to be much louder.

Same here, but it seems random. Some game my friends can hear me fine, other it is very quiet (and they are maxing my mic volume on their end).

Same issue here, he can't hear me half the times over the radio and we have to be really close if we don't use the radio, also if I'm in the truck no one outside of the truck can hear me, the sound is definitely bugged.

It's kind of a major issue when the game depends on microphone.
