Spirit box voice

Is it too much to ask for the og robot spiritbox voice as a toggle these new ones and the prev ghost voice arent immersive or scary at all

how would be a robot spirit box voice scary o.o? expecially if it is always the same.
buuuut i can tell you that multible streamers took part in those voices. including insym and psycho and some more. is that what you dont like?

Anything is better than the streamer option; i understand what CJ was going for but I can't stand the new spirit box sounds; totally cringe.

The new spirit box works more in-line with how "real" spirit boxes are supposed to work. However, having streamers do the voices is completely immersion killing. There was a big thread on it... Should've hired real voice actors instead of recognizable community members

i think people are going overboard with the immersion breaking stuff... the idea is they are tidbits from radio shows that the ghost is using to answer whatever question youre asking. Having a voice actor do the lines wouldnt be any less immersion breaking, what if they hired brad pitt? we couldnt recognize it was him? or YongYea, unless it was just some random dude off the street, streamers doing voices is a cool little easter egg and no more immersion breaking than anything else, this just feels like people are trying to be picky.

but then again, it wouldnt be any different if it wouldnt be streamer voices like me and ninja already written down. its just how a spirit box works ... atleast thats how human kind thinks how a ghost would respond through a radio xD.

If you listen to what spirit boxes sounded like irl, the new update's is more in line with that. The old spirit box sound was something I personally wanted them to fix because it would just simply never sound like that at all, and I'm glad they did
