If you can master the maximum reward in a short time frame, you can fly through the ranks.
I been seeing a few 20 Prestige people lately.
If you get one of them in your game, have them pay for everything.
Maximum multiplier is 15x, but yeah, your point stands. If you're good enough at the game, you can handle the hardest possible difficulty settings, and burn through levels.
That being said, it's still quite the grind.
Sure, if you're playing on a custom difficulty with a score multiplier lower than 1.0x...
I highly suggest learning more about the game to play on higher difficulties for faster xp. If you think it takes 10 hours for a few levels, it means that you're not playing efficiently or effectively.
I agree with you on that.
But let me explain my case.
My friends where playing together this Friday - till this very day today in 24/7 mode. They were doing a customization map with around 12x and were guessing the ghost correctly on the very first hunt. They barely went to bed (not joking). One of them stayed up for over 36 hours straight playing this game and then crashed for couple hours, and then was right back on the game.
The whole thought is unrealistic. But I seen people play this in a religious way where they set a grinding goal to achieve a certain prestige within a certain time.
No longer playing for fun. They are playing in single mode and private mode with friends to rank up extremely fast.
Yes we will see people playing in lobby doing the basic ghost hunt (which is why they cannot reach level hundred), but they are having fun. The true people that are touching the higher prestige is staying in the Private lobbies grinding or single mode until they hit a height that they are happy with. It is completely insane to think about, but to each their own.
skill issue
took me less than an hour to get 20 levels
There are quite a few people who are prestige level 10 and speedrun campwoodwind 13x and guess 50% of the time.
It’s not hard to do and doesn’t take much knowledge at all. Just know basic knowledge and have a group and it’s ez af.
People are literally staying up 24 hours a day and getting 6 hours of sleep before doing this for another 24 hours.
Edit: I could easily be prestige 20 right now if I had the time but I don’t. That’s how easy it would be.
This update wasn't designed around stopping cheaters changing their funny level that essentially means nothing.
It's a personal choice, and the rewards may be nerfed in the future, but there are plenty of people getting up there that are doing it legitimately just by using gamemodes like that.
if you know the ghosts extremely well can you just do this
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qPgizYuP8SM&ab_channel=Insym
he explains it and shows the settings for it etc.
so, if you dont know the ghosts well ... will you have probably trouble with this but... since a well known phasmophobia streamer made a guide like this, use peoples it ofcourse.
you could get with this method within 2~3 hours to your first lv 100 and are probably rich afterwards too ... which you need to be due to the item uprade costs xD.
