Did the new update break the game?

so ive tried playing recently with the new update but i keep getting evidence that isnt corresponding to the correct ghost type example- got a phantom but we saw freezing temps which a phantom doesn't have and then times i get dots projector movement but the ghost it ends up being doesn't require dots? so is this game broken now???

I cant exactly answer the dots one, but as far as the freezing temps goes are you basing that off of your breath or below zero temps on the thermometer? As far as I am aware they made it so that you will always see your breath when in the presence of a ghost. It is no longer an indication of freezing temps.

Correct. Freezing breath has changed logic. It no longer indicates freezing temperatures. It can possibly help indicate where the ghost room is, but it is no longer evidence. You must go by ONLY what the thermometer says. It's not broken or at least for this matter.

May I ask do you actually see the silhouette of the ghost in the dots or do you just see something? I only ask because your breath does interact with the dots. So make sure you're getting a clear image of the ghost with the dots and not just seeing some type of object.

I get that they have changed the breath thing.. cool, but I was seeing my breath AND it got down to 32.. so, wtf?

Down to 32.....not below 32. Meaning it could just as easily have been 32.1 or 32.01 for all you know, as in, just shy of freezing- And it'd look essentially the same since it's hard to tell with the T1 thermometer; so it's best to let it go BELOW 0 to confirm freezing. Freezing ghosts can bring temps all the way down to -15~ or so.

Your breath no longer indicates freezing so you need a thermometer, although a friend and I are also having trouble with ghost types when the evidence we get correctly ends up being wrong. Even when it's sometimes mimic we still get it wrong even when we end up with 4 evidence since mimic is always ghost orbs.

with dots it is easy to mistake if the ghost events inside of the dots radius and your breath also is seen in dots too so keep that in mind
