Its the spirit box more than likely. 1st tier is garbage. Do NOT select spirit box if you see the little red light next to the ghost symbol, it must be a white light and you must hear the ghost talk on it before you mark spirit box. Happened to us about 3 times before we figured it out.

I’ve had this issue! Literally had UV (fingerprints) and taken a photo of them and it show up in the journal saying ‘ghost left UV evidence’ only for it to say we got the ghost wrong and the ghost type didn’t even require UV - I literally had a photo to prove we got a UV handprint

Nope I totally agree with this. We've been playing this a number of times. We got CLEAR evidence of a certain ghost in each hunt and yet often it would be something else.

Same here. Has happened twice for me. No freezing, but it is a Moroi. This is after a long wait with the thermo in the room.

That is the way it use to be, breath never showed unless it were freezing temps they have changed it to throw you off now it seems.

na, it's changed to get you to use equipment. Just going into room and see breath was too easy. now you have to play smart, pay attention to the temps. At the same time- makes it easier to find the ghost room.

I'm experiencing the same issues. Not just with temps, it's like we will spend the time to have a perfect investigation, KNOW that we got the evidence and then it's a ghost that doesn't like up with any of the evidenced we got. It's so frustrating.

Game mechanics are different now, instead of re-learning it we're going to blame the game.
Have played dozens of games with friends and has worked perfectly each time, but we also actually READ all of the changes and kept them in mind.

Got a Shade giving us dots last night. Threw the whole investigation off. Only way we figured out the dots were bogus was because it wasn't hunting at low sanity.
