Report a translation problem
This is, of course, assuming you do the side objectives and don't just find the ghost and dip. Photos and bone are still useful but they give much less than the main and side objectives post multiplier.
That's how most modern games handle progression these days and far away from being absurd.
Obviously there are also games which can make a linear curve possible, but Phasmos new progression system can't really do that, as that would mean that we would need to play like 10 hours to even unlock every T1 item to begin with.
If the current rate of progression is good or too slow remains to be seen though, as i've yet not made it to prestige 2 and can't really say, how it feels.
