For example, the Demonologist have so much better graphic and runs soo smooth...
There is something wrong here. :(
- seems like the worst cases of it are happening on certain maps (two that I have tested, Tanglewood, Bleasdale)
- performance is generally poor, but there seem to be an ebb and flow where fps alternates between single digits and 30-ish
- there is a considerable amount of input lag somehow (think 1-10 seconds), unrelated to fps, randomly comes and goes
- on top of all that, the following items tank fps (on the mentioned two maps, more on this later): photo camera (if anyone is taking pictures nearby), video camera (during use), dots (sometimes), viewing camera feed in the truck (this is brutal).
Observation: there was one small map, Edgefield, which only exhibited the fps fluctuations and the input lag. I have no idea why.
I have turned anti aliasing, msaa and chromatic aberrations off in all cases.
My config should be more than enough to run this (32 gb ram, 3900x, 2080 super). Tried it with Proton experimental, GE 8.9.
Also, my friends (who are playing on Windows) says that their performance is worst after the new update...
So, there is something really wrong about the game and its code.
Probably Incompetent developers.
I simply adjusted the textures from Full to Half.
