Report a translation problem
From my experience, it seems really wonky. I only got it to work once, and it was that specific banshee that was fixated on me :'')
Like aiming a flashlight, you'll see any ghost in 'dots mode' while it's in the radius of the dots.
I just don't get it
That invisible entity is the thing you need to be shining dots on when it's dots visible; which it will only choose to be from time to time, and only if it's a dots ghost.
So you need to be keeping track of the invisible entity- If it throws something or touches a door, you can know that it is somewhere near that location; use motion sensors to check when it's entering or leaving the area, etc.
