ghost sound being way too loud during hunt?

why are ghost sounds so loud during hunts in this update?
I can hear the ghost sound as if its standing right next to me anywhere in the building regardless of it being in range of me or not, its so loud that I cannot even hear the footsteps anymore
anybody else having this problem? I don't wanna lose my ears

I also disliked that change, before you had an idea of the ghost's whereabouts by sound, but now the ghost is unnecessarily loud and it's confusing to have an estimation of its location.

I really hope it's just a bug.

Same. it's a bug which I hope they will fix soon enough (also some minor bugs with lighting).
I almost ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ died when a ghost responded to a parabolic mic in front of me, and I am officially deaf now.
