July or end of July.
But yeah it's presumably sometime this month, probably near the end. This is of course pending no unforeseen delays that were realistically out of the devs control to begin with.
I can't really make heads or tails out of this wordy response. Like there's apparently a single sentence that just goes on for like seven lines? Kind of got lost while reading and just gave up honestly
Same to anyone else who's holding off playing- You're not 'Losing' anything with the wipe except a number that doesn't even really matter. If you're at a level you want to have immortalized, make a backup copy and get to playing.
Otherwise, Whether you do or don't play isn't going to change the effect of the wipe, you're literally just depriving yourself from doing something for no particularly good reason. After level 50~, all levels are pointless. It's just a number. You've already unlocked everything that can be unlocked by level 50, after that it's entirely pointless. Being level 50,000 doesn't give you anything special, it doesn't unlock any magic cheat codes, It's literally worthless.
Not playing at all between whenever you stopped playing and the update isn't saving you from anything. Just play and have fun. It's a game.
If you stopped playing means you don't even care about the game, what are u doing here ? respectfully
We are exactly 1 week and 1 day into July.
Temper patience with fortitude.
Strange are you unable to grasp the answer to the question you asked? Literally right up there in what he/she said.. ' stopped when they said overhaul , reason pointless progression (as it will be wiped) '.. kinda simple math of 1 + 1.. equals the answer /shrugs
edit: Nevermind.. I can see from the other posts you are just trolling.. an not good at it.. oh well..
I can imagine it's easy to quit taking the roadmaps to heart since they're both vague and not entirely always true. Back in 2022, the roadmap said we'd have the upgradeable equipment update going on two years ago. You had things in the roadmaps back then that have now been pushed into 2024. Can't blame anyone really for feeling burned on the roadmap.
As for the upgrades, there seems to be only one major delay, sometime between 0.7 (Custom Difficulty) and 0.8 (Tempest/URP engine upgrage) - it was roughly six month gap each... which if you are attempting to re-code a game to use a better engine/system, that much time spent seems about right.
Despite all that, they were at least aware enough to make revised roadmaps which more accurately portray their initial plans. Putting their plans out so far in advance does come with a caveat that most people take for granted: that something unexpected might happen to push things back.
In short - just because they don't fulfill their plans on time doesn't mean they were necessarily lying to us about it... they just couldn't manage it within their own predictions/expectations. For now, it is a fairly safe bet that the first part of the overhaul will be hitting as planned... sometime late this month.
