ghosts glitching/super aggressive (HELP)

is anybody aware of whats wrong with my friend and I's games? for the past few days, the ghosts have been supremely glitchy and way too aggressive (E.G. thrown objects clipping through geometry, ghost hunting before grace period is up, ghost appears, and occasionally hunts, while IN THE TRUCK, and activity level is nearly always at 10) we're playing on amateur, and have both tried validating game files and uninstalling to no avail. does anybody know what could be wrong or are we just haunted?

ALSO: we've gotten the same ghost name, Robin Dixon, three times IN A ROW and she seems to be the most completely broken. she has killed us in the truck multiple times and started hunting before we even went into the house for the first time (with 4 minutes still left on the grace period) not sure if thats useful information, but i find it interesting / a bit concerning.

Get it on video and post it here. Sounds like your friend is using cheats to mess with you, or you misunderstood what you saw,

more inclined to believe the former considering that bit about the name being the same... given the name pool is supposed to be completely random... the odds of it giving the same exact name like that have to be so astronomically low that it should be unheard of.

As others said, cheating is very likely. While i could see one of these bugs happening to some people, a combination of all of them seems extremely unlikely and the part about being killed in the truck is outright impossible due to the ghost not having any waypoints outside the truck to walk towards, unless it is teleported (for example by a cheater).

As for the activitiy chart, it is definitely possible to have it being 10 for an extended period of time, especially on amateur, where the interaction activity is higher than normal, but even there it should go back down on a regular basis.
