Will Phasmo eventually come to Switch?
Exciting that Phasmo is coming to consoles in August, I know it wasn't listed in the specific update but is an eventual release on the Switch ever a possibility or is that off the table?

As with all possibilities, I'd guess your answer is a solid "maybe" at the moment, until they announce otherwise. The game does run fine on the Steam Deck (though it's cumbersome if you're not used to controller inputs), but I'm not sure how the system specs of the Switch would hold up. It is an older console, and while it's continued to hold up with a lot of its newer releases, some games do chug on the hardware.

I would also say maybe but with ultra low graphics

Actually had to do some digging since I was curious...if the game did go to the current Switch, it would probably have a lot of difficulty running. The Switch only runs on 4GB of RAM (half what the minimum PC specs need), and both the CPU and GPU clock speeds run about half of what the Steam Deck runs. So I'd update my original reply to say it's more likely that it won't happen until Nintendo's next console release hits.

What an answer here from Switch haters, switch is great nothing wrong with it. Short term play Phasmo with controls, I don't think it will work, play it on PC with controls and it is horrible.

hate to say this, but there is no way your phone has more performance. the issue generally with the switch is extremely outdated internet capabilities, and screen resolution. The internet capabilities cause most of the issues however can be solved using ethernet if you have that available. single player titles will have far more performance than your phone but if the game requires connection to external server the chances your phone will have more performance go up a lot. The capability of the switch is extremely high in comparison to your phone, however Nintendo stupidly went cheep considering download and upload speed on non-wired connections (between 10mb/s and 2mb/s max for download speed on switch depending on network).

Correction, the download speed can be higher but it depends on what the maximum download speed on your network is. I get 1000mb/s total on network but only get 15mb/s on switch where my PC can get as much as 100mb/s without Ethernet.

I think the real issue with the switch is that there isn't really a dedicated means of communicating through the device/game. How would a solo player use things like spirit box or ouiji board without audio input that consoles and pc users have easy access to?
