Why do I have fart sounds in the lobby ?

ok guys i have a situation here, i don't know if it is a problem for me because it's kinda fun tho BUT I was with two friends in the lobby, and I was hearing fart sounds regularly. I AM NOT KIDDING, MY STORY IS REAL. I checked everywhere, it sounds like it comes from nowhere. Does anyone has this problem too ? I am currently editing a compilation of what i heard to prove my sayings. HELP ME WHAT IS HAPPENING

i swear its not that we double time checked and the soundboards make his PC crash. also, we were four for a game, and only two of us could hear the farts

Also i precise that the farts were IN GAME, because i muted Discord, checked if I had like a window opened in background or something, it continued, and was localized in the game, like it came from a place, always changing, It drives me crazy

aaaand what was stopping them from playing it through the games proximity chat and not telling anyone? I wouldn't even be surprised if they set up a dedicated virtual audio cable and had it be set up as the microphone in game instead of their actual mic.

But yeah, 100% a soundboard... no such sound exists in game. You're not crazy... you just got a friend driving you crazy with a prank.

Nothing stops him from only routing the voice channel to the discord, while the game would have the soundboard+voice channels.

"out of nowhere" sounds that you can guarantee are not positioned on some person, sound like a cheat application alternating the game.

It is a bug, it happens to me as well sometimes according to my friend. Also I have seen this audio bug happen on Phasmo streams before. It's a funny bug though
