Cursed object not spawning

I have just played a game on Tanglewood, nightmare difficulty but no cursed object spawned. Is this a known bug?

Are you sure you weren't playing on a custom difficulty with cursed objects being set to off?

No, BUT, we had just a played the new challenge mode prior to it.

Yeah, the new challenge mode doesn't spawn any cursed objects so yeah.

But that was a game before that. The game I'm talking about was on nightmare. Had full load out, regular sanity. The only thing missing was the cursed objects.

I'm not trying to argue here, but in the times I played I did get summoning circle and tarot cards in the challenge run (each in a separate run).

Oh my bad, I just re-checked, with the ''New Challenge mode'' I thought insanity was meant by that. Forgot there were two new difficulty things added, sorry for the confusion.

Just in case you've not looked up any patch notes: Do you know, that there's now a 7th cursed possession and checked that spot as well?

I have also had this problem twice on Tanglewood too. I have not played the challenge mode.

I thought it was only in sunny meadows? If not, maybe that was the case.

That's only half correct - the Monkeys Paw can spawn in a pre-determined spot just like any other cursed possession, but the player is not ever told the wishes... the activation phrases... of the item, and the Journal entry on it is blank.

Sunny Meadows has a bunch of toe tag like slips scattered about the place now. You can pick these up to learn a wish that can be spoken aloud to the monkey paw in order to use it, and the phrase is then saved in your Journal for future reference.

EDIT: Now, I'm only going to give you one of those wish locations as a freebie, just so you know what to look for. There is one to find in the chapel, on the podium the preacher would stand in front of.
