Having an issue with the controller

Hey all, i seem to be having an issue with the controller, for whatever reason it will not let me use LT to place things and also the F key on the keyboard will not let me place anything so i am unable to beat the tutorial.

Also i have tried 6 different controllers and have also tried with and without using the steam big picture controller profiles, as well as tried the normal clean install and verify cache so im unsure how to fix this.

It's a known bug that placing stuff with F doesn't work in the tutorial so it should be fixed soon :)

As a new player I was pulling my hair out trying to learn the game and controls but not being able to place anything at all. Apparently they're waiting to update the tutorial but a "Hey this is broken warning" should be pretty easy right?

Yeah the only reason I knew it was a known bug was because the dev commented on another thread saying it.
